Palisade asks for 19 permissions when you add it: Kick Members, Ban Members, Manage Channels, Manage Server, Add Reactions, View Audit Log, View Channels, Send Messages, Manage Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, Manage Nicknames, Manage Roles, Manage Webhooks, Manage Threads, Create Public Threads, Send Messages in Threads, Timeout Members. Administrator is not among them. You can uncheck any of these on Discord’s authorization screen, and every command verifies what it actually holds before it acts. What it does

• Moderation with real history

  Warnings, timeouts, kicks and bans all produce a numbered case. Automod and security responses write into the same history, so a member’s record is complete rather than only covering what a human typed.

• Automod that explains itself

  Spam, mass mentions, invites, links, word filters and caps, each with its own thresholds, exemptions and actions. Members are told which rule they tripped instead of having messages vanish.

• Security that fails safe

  Anti-raid and anti-nuke with per-action thresholds, whitelists and protected roles. Destructive responses are opt-in, the server owner is never actionable, and a single switch drops everything back to logging.

• Automation without scripting

  Triggers, conditions and actions composed from a fixed set. No scripting language and no expression evaluator, so an automation cannot become a way to run code in your server.

• Tickets and roles

  Ticket panels with categories, forms, claiming and transcripts. Self-assignable roles as buttons, menus or reactions, with autoroles and sticky roles.

• Errors you can act on

  Discord reports a missing permission and a role-hierarchy problem with the same error. Palisade works out which it was and tells you, instead of saying the action failed.

What a member sees

When a rule matches, the bot names the rule and what tripped it, then clears the notice after a few seconds so the channel is not left full of them. This is that message, rendered by the same engine the bot sends it through.
